Ready to balance?

Place signed tiles across both ledgers for 18 turns.

How to Play

Place each signed number into the Left or Right Ledger. Keep the absolute difference between the ledger totals within the turn's hard limit through all 18 turns. Earn points for balance; a Breach scores no turn points but does not end the session.

Controls

Tap Left Ledger or Right Ledger to place the current tile. On desktop, press Left Arrow or A for Left, or Right Arrow or D for Right.

Scoring

Exact (0): 120 points; Stable (1–2): 90; Tense (3–4): 55; Danger (5 through the turn's hard limit): 20; Breach (above the hard limit): 0. Exact and Stable build the combo; Tense, Danger, and Breach reset it. The combo multiplier applies to that turn's points, up to ×1.50. Complete all 18 turns for the breach-count and final-difference bonuses.

A closer look at Twin Ledger

Compare the projected difference with the turn limit

Estimate both totals after adding the signed tile, then compare their absolute difference with the current hard limit. Exact and Stable results build a combo; Tense, Danger, and Breach reset it. A small award that protects the ledger can be preferable to preserving a streak while crossing the limit.

One +2 tile can turn a two-point gap into Exact

On turn 7 the hard limit is 7. If the totals are Left 8 and Right 6 and the available tile has effective value +2, placing it on the Right makes both totals 8: difference 0, Exact, 120 base points. Placing it on the Left instead makes the difference 4: Tense, 55 base points.

Signed choices shape an 18-turn balance

Each tile changes one running total, while the hard limit tightens from 8 on turns 1–6 to 7 on turns 7–12 and 6 on turns 13–18. A Breach loses that turn’s points but does not end the session, so recovery and the final balance still matter.
